The History of Vibe Fest

It’s been 8 years since we held our first Vibe Fest and it has been one crazy, joyful ride. We have loved seeing the festival grow and grow since the summer of 2016 at Knockaloe Beg Farm in Patrick. Riding on the success of our launch, in 2017 we set up camp in Silly Moo’s, Lazayre which became our home right up until 2023. We delight in now being an unmissable feature for so many young people’s summer holidays building lifelong friendships and memories. God’s goodness has been so evident each year no matter what challenges have come our way, wind, rain or even a pandemic, the only thing that has linked each festival over the years is a sense of growing our relationship with God. Vibe Fest continues to bring young people and a small army of volunteers together from every corner of the Isle of Man, as well as a growing group that come from abroad especially for the festival. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for the future of Vibe Fest as we move to the Manx Fun Farm, knowing that no matter what, in God’s hands we can’t go wrong.

What We Do at Vibe Fest

Vibe Fest is a Christian Festival run from a core team of Living Hope Church members. The purpose of the festival is to give young people in School Years 7 to 12 a place to come together, have fun, and learn more about faith.
There is no such thing as a “average day” at Vibe Fest with each day being even better than the last. However, the basic structure for each day works as:
• Breakfast
• Session 1
• Lunch
• Fun, Sports and Activities all afternoon.
• Dinner
• Session 2
• Evening Activity

Each session will include Christian worship, and an inspiring talk from one of the team. All sports and activities are there to encourage the building of friendship and great summertime memories for every young person whether they are sporty, creative, adventurous or shy. There truly is something for everyone and no one will get bored. The big Vibe Fest Talent Show is always a great way to end the festival, so get practising!
